As the title says - it has no replies & I thought I would just delete, but can't see a delete button. Can anyone advise how to delete the topic? Thanks original.gif
Edited to add that I didn't want to delete due to it having no replies, it was simply that the question didn't need to be answered any more so I thought I'd delete the topic to save space here. I thought it likely that if there were replies to it then a topic definitely couldn't be deleted so figured it was worth mentioning.

You cannot. What you can do is a full edit (click on edit button, choose full rather than quick, edit title and post. I think you hae to put something in such as... for it to accept it and then press complete edit). tthumbs.gif

As PP said, the best way available to a member is to do a full edit and clear your title and post - you may need to put some full stops or something in, not sure that it lets you leave it blank.

You can also PM a mod, or post in Message to Moderators, however posts/threads will only be removed in some circumstances.

I was looking for this too. Think there should defenately be an option for the original poster to delete the post, without having to justify why...

Lol, old thread is old.

Why the angry face? Because of what you were directed to as the appropriate time to start solids?

If you change the title to something like "deleted" or "." you are going to get lots of attention.
Best to change the title to something completely boring/non-contentious and delete your text.

Hi ladies

Members are welcome to message a Moderator or Admin about having a thread removed from view.

We rarely delete threads, as this also affects other members who have posted in a thread and messes with continuity as well.. we end up with a lot of members asking why information was removed. Also many threads do contain important advice and it is a shame to lose that as well.

If you have any concerns or issues, please PM the Moderator of the forum.

Kind regards
