Hi everyone!
I thought I would jump in here to say farewell and give a big wave goodbye before I cancel my subscription to this forum area.

I have finished my weight loss journey and am now in maintenance from here on in which is awesome. Much to my own trepidation I have not come out of this journey a 'fitness nut' as some have become (in a good way that is) but rather I am simply feeling like the 'me' that I am on the inside is now reflected on the outside.
I have taken the chance to do
my before and after shots on the appropriate thread and have left a wad of information on my journey too. I hope that for just one person it may be inspiration enough to persist.
I joined this forum area at the encouragement of Mel_Mac after she had her eldest and I had my DS2. Mel_Mac in my opinion is one of those aforementioned fitness freaks and has a heart of gold (well, on most days

). If anyone is ever looking for motivation then I would strongly recommend
bookmarking her blog - it is awesome!

Before I go I definitely owe some kudos. Of particular note are those who were parts of Mel's count-down group (originally 16/26 I believe) including Mel_Mac, sarzy, ~*Rach*~, ~Susan~, nicoleiv, LauraT, Mum2ellanic, and 2bluepeas. Your contagious motivation kick started me into this journey and kept me going long after you had moved on to other loss groups or to less time on EB and more time enjoying life.
Thanks to others along the way from the other groups I have participated in that have encouraged me and kept me moving as well as to those who have willing answered my more silly questions along the way too. Thanks also to those who journeyed to
my weight loss journal online, with particular mention to those who commented, emailed or messaged me on Facebook along the way. It was appreciated so thank you.
Even for those who may have been less than encouraging (most likely not participants in this forum area anyway). You spurred me to persist in spite of your antics. So, in a weird kind of way, thank you to those people also - you know who you are.
Well, I think that is it and I have done my dash. I wish all participants in here the best with their journeys no matter whether they are to lose weight, gain weight, maintain their fitness or to strengthen and sculpt. I hope that you all continue to have the support you need in here and in the real world that lies beyond your monitor.
Cheers!
