Lone Ranger: A couple of weeks ago we were told that our place at Toronto would rent at around $230 - 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom, 3 garage and air con. Not sure if that's too far out. We walk to schools and shops (incl Woolworths and Coles) from here and there are buses to centres like Charlestown etc.

Take care
Joanne

I received my results back from my scan. I have a cyst on my ovary. I will have another scan in a month. So until then I have to take panadol if I get any pains and hopefully it will disperse with time.

Kate and Amanda - I will let you know about the playgroup. I start Tiffany on the 18th.

You're nothing but an extra, and baby I'm the star!
Morning girls,

DH has taken the kids to swimming this morning original.gif Nice to not have to get up and rush around.

I have my little niece here at the moment. How cute is she? I could easily keep her with me, she is such a good baby.

Nothing exciting happening here this weekend. Thought we might catch up with some gardening, mowing etc but everything is saturated from that storm last night.

Hope everyone else is having a great day original.gif

Hi,

I am not sure if any of you know anyone who has their children in the Hunter Ice Stadium Hockey Program but I was interested on knowing if anyone has heard anything about it or have their children involved in it. I read that they have a program to start as early as 4 years old. My DS is only nearly 5 months but I have let DH know I want to relocate to enrol him in hockey. I know it would be a big move from Darwin to Newcastle but to me its worth it if I find out the program is a good one.

I am researching now because DH would have to go through some trouble to get a transfer through work and that could take just over a couple years.

Ice Hockey is my all time favorite sport so I really want DS to experience it...I just hope he loves it as much as me!

If you have any advice or knowledge of the Ice hockey program I would really appreciate it! happy.gif Could you please PM me if you have any info...THANK YOU!!!

Jen

Good evening girls!

Beck- your neice is just gorgeous! wub.gif I could stare into those eyes all day! I've sent you a pm about tomorrow grin.gif

Jennifer- Sorry but I have no idea about the ice hockey! Sounds like he'll be getting rollerblades or iceskates for his first birthday! tongue.gif

Charlene- It's good they aren't going in there to get the cyst. Mine had ruptured (which is what they normally do) but the fluid hadn't gotten out of my tubes etc, so I had a laperoscopy to get rid of it all. But normally they do disapate on their own, its just painful in the meantime. sad.gif

Annika- We were looking at houses all summer, up until the end of January, in areas from Waratah, the Lambtons, Wallsend, Cardiff and over to the lake. We don't like being right up here but we just can't get anywhere we like without paying a fortune (this place costs us enough already!) I hope you find somewhere though, keep looking as the good ones do come up, they just go straight away.

We're not happy today, after watching the news about the carers bonus going. We get the full $1600 as DH only works two days a week and we SO need that money- it pays for our car insurance, contents insurance, winter clothes for the kids and a few things we keep wanting to buy but keep putting off because money is too tight, like new towels etc. DH has absolutely no social life, no career, he's given up so much to stay home and look after me and the kids, the least he deserves is that bonus. GRRR to Kevin RUdd- take some money off the $150,000+ earners, not the $25,000 earners! rant.gif Ok, rant over! Maybe I should have gone into Venting for that!

Oh, on a brighter note, its now been 8 days since I last had a smoke! ddance.gif

x Kate
