Do we need to bring a gift to the bride-to-be on her hen's night? And put a card as well? What do we write on the card?

Sorry..never been to any hen's night before...

THanks

I should be cleaning my house
In my circle of friends, we have always bought each other a gift. It is something for the honeymoon, and dependent on the personality of the giver, might range from crotchless undies (or worse rolleyes.gif) to massage oil. It's great fun original.gif

ETA - Forgot to mention, I don't normally bother with a card with a thoughtful comment - just a bag with one of those little cards attached so she knows who gave it to her

I've never taken a gift to a hen's night, but have bought the hen(s) drinks and contributed towards the cost of their dinner along with the rest of the group.

Have a great night original.gif

Just MARRIED! 26th April 2009
Naughty stuff!!!!

It's a bit of fun, so give something fun. Even if she never uses what you buy it will get a laugh on a hen's night.

Don't be embarrased walking into sex shops nowadays, most of them employ female staff and it is not as taboo as it used to be.

fun fun fun. grin.gif

We're the same as this. Sometimes the cost of attending can be quite high: horse races, massages, expensive restaurants, wine tours etc. This is enough, I think. If the night was in someone's backyard and food/beverages were supplied then I might think differently.

Always treat others the way u want to b treated
I have never taken a present or card to a hens night.
With engangement parties, kitchen teas then the actual wedding, i think that is sufficient enough amount of present giving tongue.gif
