Hi I am in need of a new digital camera as mine is old and takes crap photo's I have a fujifilm finePix 2 mega pixel camera.
I am wanting a better one that takes nice photo's and I can crop the photo's on computer and get blown up, the one I have I can only get them blown up to a certain size or the photo get's pixelated (SP?). I really want the image stabiliser function as well. Not really sure what price range but if it is a really good camera I will pay the money for it. I am currently looking at the sony cybershot DSC H9 8.1 mga mexal camera for around $600 but not really sure about it. Maybe I should go into harvey norman or somewhere and ask which camera to get?????????? Thank you!!!! |

I recently purchased Panasonic FZ8 Lumix. It is 7.2 megapixels, 12x optical zoom & image stabiliser. It is a little more bulky than some camera's but is lovely and light too hold and has a long zoom nose on it. I am thrilled with how quickly it takes the photo's, the quality of the zoom and the photo's. It was around $500.

I recently got the Canon Ixus 70 7.1mp on special at Target and it takes fantastic pics. Compared to my old 4mp Panasonic it's great. Photos are sharp and clear, it's easy to use, the screen is big. Would definitely recommend this one
