SILVER!! I'm getting quite a collection of these medals now! wink.gif

Hi everyone!

Gee that shortens the list down a bit taking out people we haven't heard from in a while!! I hope they are all doing okay and enjoying their babies.

CONGRATULATIONS SAM ON THE MAMMOTH EFFORT TO BRING KEELEY INTO THE WORLD!!!

I'm so pleased for you!!!

Has anyone heard from Simona? I'm a bit worried about her, especially with all the rain that's been falling in her part of the world! Hopefully she's doing well and able to relax now that bubs is in arms.

Well, we are off to the hospital in a couple of hours. We both had a sleepless night (funnily enough) which wasn't assisted by the announcement at dinner last night that MIL is getting married and just bought a house with her 'fiance'! Everyone is so happy for her (she's been a widow for 10 years) but it was such a big news night last night at dinner with the family. I'm really pleased that bubba held off so we could go! DH and I were awake at 5am discussing it all, including still trying to decide on what to call bubba if it's a boy! wacko.gif

Anyway, I'm off to have a nap - I'm expecting to not get great sleep tonight, IYNWIM!! Thanks for the good wishes everyone! I look forward to reading all about everyones babies when I'm back at home later in the week.

- Melissa P

Apropos of nothing
Hi all.. back home this morning.
Thanks everyone for all your thoughts and posts. Lincoln is wonderful. An easy feeder and sleeper (so far). Everything I didn't have last time.

It was a long posterior labour again. Looks like we're slow to make them and slow to get them out. laughing2.gif
Ended up induced with gel at 7am, waters broken at 1pm, waters re-broken at 5pm, then things really hotted up. Had pethidine at 7.30pm and was 9cms 3 hours later. Vaccum extraction and 12 stitches. Ouch! But all without an epidural so I was up and about the next morning albeit slowly.

I still haven't had a msg from you Carr. Having read back a little I see you are looking at 20th June!

I'll be lurking. original.gif

Melissa ~ Good luck hun we'll be thinking of you. Ooohh a new baby will be arriving soon. wub.gif

Aprill ~ Sorry to hear about your labour, glad to hear Lincoln is doing great, we nearly had two Lincolns here. (Seth was going to be Lincoln) Great to hear you are doing well.

Hope everyone else who hasn't posted is doing OK..
We are all thinking of you.

**Is wondering who is getting the wooden spoon award** wink.gif

Daniroi: your little boy is very cute!! He is adorable!!

Noodles and i are still here in one piece!! Have been walking nearly all day!! Mum and dad came over from Griffith and spent the morning here with us. Was good cause mum knows how to push that little bit more to get me motivated to walk.
Drove down bumpy road, had a curry for tea friday night, and there is still nothing!!
Alot of tightening and backahe, but nothing.

Hope because it is quiet in here today that it means someone is having a baby!!

Good luck to those of us who are still waiting!!

Hopefully it's my turn soon!

Daniellesuch gorgeous photos wub.gif and not at all like E.T. (my usual expectation for new borns)! I hope my little one is as cute and that I look as good as you. You don't even look like you have been pregnant let alone just given birth!

Congratulations Sammy, I am so glad bubs arrived safely.

Muser it's good to have you back. Would have been nice if bub had been a little kinder to you with the amount of time it took! And no epidural. I'd like to think I can manage that but if I can't make it I will be taking whatever they have on offer!

At the time of reading this Melissa you may already have your little one in your arms, I hope all has gone well and there is news posted soon.

Forgot to ask last time, what are the gold and silver medals about?

Meanwhile, back on the ranch, no news here wacko.gif . Bub is still kicking around in there like it has no intention of ever leaving and I woke up so body sore this morning I had to get DH to help me out of bed. I think I am going to need a course of massage therapy when this is over to get things back where they belong!!! The in-laws are being really great and looking after me, I even got a hot lunch cooked today and didn't have to lift a finger (and got in trouble when I tried). At least I don't feel quite so apathetic today, things were really getting me down yesterday but now I am resigned to the fact that nothing will happen before my appt tues! Lora, know how you feel with the waiting!

Have a great Monday off (which doesn't really apply to us but still nice to think of it as a long weekend and pretend like we have an extra day to relax!).

Look after yourselves girls
