I wanted to also make a BIG apology blush.gif for all those people who have posted lists/ hints for 'being green' throughout the Your Environment forum that I didn't give credit to for and haven't incorporated into this list yet... there are so many great ideas/ tips and I have learnt from you all, but just didn't realise how many lists/ posts there were already that could also be in this pinned list. wub.gif

Also, this isn't MY list, though I did add lots of my own ideas/ things I've learnt, I am just the one who happened to organise the ideas/ hints etc, into a readable list...

If your interested in switching to GreenPower check out:

http://www.easyswitch.com.au

I set this website up to help people find an accurate price on switching their plan to a more environmental electricity plan.
People were not switching because they were scared the costs could be up to 50% more than what they are paying(they are right with some of the plans!). However depending on where you live you can actually save $100 by going 25%. My goal is to have all Australian switch to at least a 25% plan and others that are better for the environment but may cost a little more each week.

I hope you find this interesting and useful.
