Hi everyone,

Good to hear everyone is well.

I'm good although i think my preggie brain has switched into over drive today as i somehow mucked up the time that i needed to take ds to the bus stop for school today and missed the bus! So then i had to drive all the way into town with no hand bag or anything lol and he was still about 10 minutes late blush.gif

A nap is probably something i should be having atm.. ds has decided to have his nap early today though and i keep looking around at all the toys ect that need cleaning up and thinking i might do that instead. Is anyone else getting annoyed at having to go to the loo in the middle of the night!! It's driving me mad cause i can never get back to sleep! rant.gif

Weight.. i lost 6 kilo's during the early preg with being sick and have so far put about 2 kilo's of it back on so i could really do with putting some more on but i'm not going to try and help that along just yet haha

Well think i should go get something done wub.gif

Take care everyone
Liz

back again hehe

Cas that really sux about the showerscreen guys! Hope they show up soon. About the kiddies at night with the newborn.. i never had any real drama with jamie when dylan was little. They were in seperate rooms with the doors pulled ajar so i guess that was enough for him.. plus i used a monitor so as soon as he started crying i would quickly get him before he had a chance to wake anyone then he'd feed and go back to sleep without any drama at all so i was pretty lucky. Dylan has been waking also when i first got preg.. i think he figured if mum was wondering around the house then he would get up and have a drink or raid my fridge haha so i ended up putting him into his cot for a while just so he physically can't do it and now he just goes back to sleep without waking me or trying to get up (thankfully!) i don't know what i'd do if he was still waking me up AND having to get up for the loo but i can't make him stay in the cot for the whole 9 months! haha so hopefully he'll grow out of it or something

Anyway.. gtg time to bring the washing in

Kylie - What a gorgeous pup. I want one!! tongue.gif

Linsey - My DDog also comes with us on hols. I've actually just booked a pet friendly house at Noosa in April. Can't wait.

Luckymum - I'm thinking of getting one of those swings as well. Only had a rocker for DS and I didn't find it really settled him at all.

Sleeping arrangements - DS went straight into a Tetra snuggle bed in the cot in his own room which is right next door so I could hear everything (and still do sad.gif ). Will do the same for #2 if I can get DS into his own bed before then. Otherwise might have to do a mad dash for a bassinette or put the snuggle bed in a portacot.

Work - Last time I finished at 32wks as I had PIH and felt work wasn't helping. I took 12mths mat leave with 12 wks of that paid. This time I intend finishing at 34 wks and again taking 12mths off but we now get 6mths of that paid.

Weight - Think I've put on about 2kgs (dodgy scales). Desperately need to get new bras (and I only stocked up at xmas sales time). Current ones way too small and older ones before I lost weight are still too big. Might have to buy some cheapos to get me by.

Niki

nearly missed a whole thread again...

Today is my first day out of bed since Saturday - I've had the worst bout of gastro I've ever had sick.gif I got really worried on Sunday afternoon as I hadn't kept anything down at all for 24 hours, got DH to phone the hospital, but they were engaged (he tried a few times), so he took DS over to my mum and dad's for dinner <_<

He phoned again on Monday morning and was told that there were a lot of bugs going around at the moment, just make sure that I keep up my fluids and I'd be fine.

Great help eh?

I managed to start drinking gastrolyte on Monday and have kept fluids down so far. I tried a toasted muffin this morning, which turned out to be a bad idea...so haven't attempted any more food yet!

Anyways - a few personals,

Carrie: OMG at them thinking you were 2 weeks over! Were they expecting you to be giving birth to a human baby or a kitten?!

Cass: Well done on the crocheting blankets and soakers. I know basically how to knit, and would love to try and knit some soakers, but at the rate I do it, I'd have to start now to be finished one by the end of next year!

Amanda: I suggest if you don't want to buy any clothes for baby yet, STAY AWAY FROM EBAY! I'm trying to hold back from buying some wall stickers at the moment...so tempting!

Luckymum: See, don't tell me about Ebay bargains, I'm bad enough without any encouragement!

Annaluke: At my last ob appt last week (at 14 weeks), I was the same weight as pre-pg, 61kg, but since having gastro these last few days, I'm now 58kg. Too bad it takes something so rotten to lose the weight - I can exercise and eat well all I want when not pg and not lose any, why does it take gastro to get rid of the weight?! I put on 10kg last pg, went from 57kg to 67kg, so I'm expecting to put on about the same again. ps, your puppy is adorable, if DH wasn't so precious about his garden (our goldy has destroyed it!) I'd be getting another pup for sure!

Aqua: From a nurses POV...do you think I should go to the doc/ob and make sure baby is ok after having been so sick? I'm sure it's all fine, I'm just a bit paranoid!
