How long did it take for your little baby to get some relief from heartburn reflux (silent reflux) when taking zantac?

As Bec said, it can take a bit to kick in. Meanwhile you can help ease the discomfort by giving bub 1ml of mylanta or gaviscon a couple of times a day. Just check with your pead or GP.
Also don't forget that Zantac is based on weight, so during this time you need to keep checking with the dr or pharmacist that you have the right dose. Its a bit of a challenge, especially as babies keep gaining weight. HTH Take care Angela |
