DD crawled at 8months to the day!!!
Yay as she has been crawling backwards for 2 months now, I thought she was NEVER going to 'get' it! I don't think it matters too much as you don't walk around with a sign on your head saying - 'I crawled at ___ months' or 'I walked at __ months'!! How many people do you know who never crawled or walked??? |

Hi all my DS started crawling at exactly 7 months. He was commando crawling from i think 6 months.
And now he is trying to walk as crawling is to slow for him. Where has my baby boy gone. |

I voted 8-9 mths old as Caitlin just started crawling this week. She was commando crawling from 6 mths old and doing the occassional crawl, but only this week started to crawl on all fours all the time.
My DS#1 was 12 mths old, DS#2 11 mths old and my DS#3 9 mths old. |

DS (nearly 3) first crawled about 9 months and DD started crawling at 6 months and 1 day. So a fair difference between them

Our ds was crawling properly right on 6 months. Had spent the month before rolling wherever he wanted to go.

My DS has just been crawling for about 3 weeks just before he turned 6 months. He was crawling properly on the carpet at my mums while we were on holidays but now we are at home he is lazy and just commando crawls along the floorboards. Typical Male!

I have 4 kids and 3 stepkids.
The ages mine crawled (in order) were 6 months, 7 months, 7 months, and 10 month old still a lazy bones. She 360s everywhere and gets up on her knees but i really don't think she is going to crawl. I try to get the other kids "out of her face" so she has room to move. hopefully that will help. But at the moment I am glad to know I can run to the loo and she will be roughly in the same vicinity I put her down. lol. My 3 eldest all walked within a couple of weeks of their 1st birthday so maybe Eb will walk before she crawls. |
