Hi

Sorry just felt I had to share whats going on in my head right now - i'm 13 DPO - Those who know me will know I have long and irregular cycles since stopping the pill last November - slowly my cycle has been reducing in length - I do ovulate on my own but just have a really long follicular phase - my luteal phase last cycle was 11 days from memory. I've had one chemical pregnancy last February and have been TTC ever since.

FF has described my chart as 'Triphasic' now - I know that it dosen't mean i'm pregnant but statistically its more likely to be seen in PG charts. However I tested yesterday and got a BFN on the fertility naturopath tests - I bought them about 4 months ago so I think they detect 25 of HCG. The last time before the chemical pregnancy I got a BFP at 11DPO - I then miscarried at 15DPO. Trouble is that time I had every symptom under the sun of pregnancy (peeing tonnes, twinges, blocked nose, weird vivid dreams) - this cycle almost nothing - does that mean anything? Should you expect to feel the same way again? While i'm sitting here I feel twinges in my tummy but not like the last time - maybe my body is just gearing up for AF - I just wondered if I was PG could implantation just of occurred later? - I know none of you have the magic answers! Only time will tell but just felt I needed your support and wanted to offload. Baby dust to all of you!

Thanks for reading,
Lynn cool.gif

You are going to hate me for saying this Lynn, but I really feel that you might have O'ed as late as CD49. If you had have O'ed at CD44 like FF suggests then you would expect all fertile CM to have dried up by CD49 and ferning should have ceased as well. Not only that but looking at your past charts 36.7 seems to be a standard pre-O temp for you.

I personally think you are only 8dpo and therefore are testing too early. Give it another 4 days and test again.

Thanks Praying for your ongoing support - I really appreciate it.

Smurtle Many thanks for checking out my chart - thanks for your view on it - I did wonder about CD 49 as well - I vaguely remember quite a lot of EWCM that day - more than CD 44. I will try and hold of testing another few days - I was trying to do that anyway. So is it impossible to get EWCM after Ovulation? Ah well time will tell, I'll let you know.

Lynn

No its not impossible to get EWCM after ovulation but it would be considered unusual unless you were closer to expecting AF. EWCM is creating by high oestrogen as is the ferning on the Maybe Baby. Because oestrogen is the dominate hormone before ovulation, CD49 would have to be considered as the mostly likely day for that to have happened. If you had have ovulated at CD44 or 46, the progesterone would have dried up the CM.

Thank you, that makes a lot of sense! Oh well will just have to wait and see what happens - I still feel my temps are quite good though - still a reasonable temp shift. Would make sense why i'm not really feeling any symptoms. Our timing wasn't as perfect if it was CD49 but BD'ing the day before Ovulation isn't too bad.

Dont get me wrong Lynn, your temps still are very good even for CD49 and the temp shift is great, it just explains why nothing is happening yet.

Be the master of your own destiny, live in paradise!
Lynn,
Oh I feel for you.....this is similar to what I went through 2 cycles ago...thought I had Od, Bd timing was perfect, thought I was 16dpo, only have a normal 10 day LP and then BANG, smurtle told me, Oh no you didn't O on cd34 you didn't O til cd41.....................unfortunately she was right!!!!!!
I tell ya, that woman knows bl**dy charts inside out, back to front.......
I too have to say it looks like you are now, today only 9dpo and I saw the temp drop this morning.......here's hoping the temp spikes back up tomorrow morning....

Good luck hun, as another one who too has long, irregular cycles I totally understand your frustrations......

hi ~****~ (strange username!!) Thanks for your reply - Can I just say something!!!? AAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH You are all right - I must only be 9DPO - that means I still have 3 horrible days waiting to test - i've waited so long already!!!!!! I'm glad you understand how I feel - having long/irregular cycles is no fun! We are all very lucky to have Smurtle though who knows charts inside out! Otherwise i'd think i'm PG!

Will keep you all posted! Anyone know how to pass 3 days - I need to lock my tests away as tested again today and got BFN - yet when I pulled it out the bin later there was a line (prob evap line!!!)Why do we do this!!!!?
