Not sure where you are or how old the kids are, so its a bit hard to offer idea's, but here are some of the things i have arranged with my playgroup-
a trip to the beach or local lagoon a trip to a local farm museum science centre catching a bus/ train/ ferry (sounds boring but for a lot of kids its something they never normally get to do!) if the kids are older you could even try and arrange something semi- educational like visiting a vet or factory. parks parks parks! get everyone to pool their knowledge of all the great parks around, sometimes a bit of a trip is worth it for a great new park. you can also do "theme days" where ever you have play group normally. A sports day, a "colour day", an animal day, a messy day, a cooking day....ect ect Hope that helps, and welcome to EB! ![]() |

Local animal farm
Those kid play centres - always lots of fun with a group of kids Local firestation, ambulance or police station. In fact, our playgroup has them come to us. Last year the local volunteer fire brigade came to us with the fire engine, the kids got to sit it in, have a go with a fire hose. This term we are having the ambulance service. There are other people who come to you - I know locally there is a bird thing, and a reptile show |
