Already had a wine, Work was boring and I got a new role I don't like, and 3 year old DD is being a typical 3 year old and saying mum and why every second!

Not so much my day as my week!

Let's see...only second week in my new field placement and I made a total fool of myself on Sunday...ended up having perilous misadventures with DD in the storms on Tuesday, made even better by accidentally emailing a dramatic account and request to pick up groceries on the way home to my lecturer instead of DH...and, for those of you who might remember a thread of mine a while ago about a problem with a counsellor, that went seriously bad and ended up with me storming out of her office yesterday, never to return... sigh.

But, today I bought new shoes! So not all is bad! wink.gif

I'm planning to make mulled wine shortly. What is with this crazy Melbourne weather? Today feels like winter!

Too hot to be a feminist
Well, I cried at work today. It was terrific. I had a customer yell at me and when he ran over our past conversation he imitated, IMITATED my voice (you know that stupid "girl" voice men do?). I am now drinking away my sorrows with Rose. I feel like sh*t, happened right before I left work too.

Ugh.

Anyhoo, onwards and upwards. Tomorrow I am going for a weekend away with my mum and I got a call to say my wedding gown has arrived in store, so I need to turn my mood!

Sorry to hear about your counsellor AV....I remember the thread and she was out of line...do you have a recommendation for another? But I know it must feel daunting to have to start from scratch.....

But yay for new shoes! Describe?

Have you given wine up for lent or are you imbibing?

Loz- I think it stands for Thursday night drunk female bar ...? Or something like that

Joisme - yes three is a difficult age!

I was just really sh1tty to poor DS (6) ...he has a spelling quiz tomorrow and I was testing him and he wasn't concentrating....he is tired, I'm tired, we were doing it over dinner because that's the only time we have. Sigh. I feel like a real b1tch.....I have to remember how hard it is to learn all this stuff...

Wasn't going to drink tonight but I think I will!

I now know what a verger is!

No wonder the wine bottles are popping open all over Oz, it sounds like its been a dodgy Thursday.

I can't complain, I've had a quiet day at home alone and should now be nurturing my children instead of surfing around EB... oh well!
