About 9kgs by the time I got home with ds (I put on 14 altogether). The rest was gone within a few weeks. With dd I put on 8 Kgs, and lost all of it by the time I got home.

I gained 15 kgs during pregnancy, and had lost about 9 by the time I got home but I had LOTS of post surgery fluid that was still hanging around. Ditto PP - major cankles!!

Hmm...what does c/section have to do with the weight loss?

It doesn't prevent or assist post partum weight loss.

Post birth, do you mean?

I'd chuck in my stats anyway...I put on around 23 kg...and the day after I got home from the hospital, I was still 18 kg over! So only 5 kg, and my son weighed 4.2 kg at birth.

It took me a year to lose most of it. Even now, 13 months on, a couple still cling, which partly can be explained by extra fluid retention for the breastfeeding.

I am not complaining, though, since I've been this weight before, it's just before getting pregnant I was in exceptionally terrific shape! biggrin.gif

My wife lost near 10 kilos... But I guess it was not only natural way, because she took some meds from here http://adipex.1loseweightfast.com/
