are you doing medicated or natural FEts. With natural FETs i would go for it - its just a few appointments (depending on your clinic - blood tests and Ultrasounds and then the actual transfer would take 3 hours at most). i would just tell your new employer you had been waiting for these appointments and want to keep them and it will mean you need to dash out in the first few weeks.
if it is medicated - i would recommend a month off. I tried to do this and ended up with a cancelled cycle (my liver just went into over process mode and took up all the oestrogen) and more heartache than if i had just waited. Wishing you very good news soon. |

Thanks Lottie,
It will be a natural one. The problem is the new place is in the middle of nowhere, hard to dash out and back My godness, the med would affect the liver as well? Hope you are recovering ok. All the best! |

Oh that is another degree of difficultly... maybe push back your start date at work or the FET - last thing you want to be is stressed about getting to and from. you are holding off for good reason, so maybe its worthwhile to let the dust settle on a new job - have a few wines and soft cheeses and sushi over that month in the hopes that soon they will be out of bounds!
Sorry, i wrote that quickly. My liver is fine - all this healthy living has made it more efficient than ever and it just processed all the oestrogen (from the tablets i was taking) so it wouldnt get absorbed, so it never made it to my blood stream to then work on my lining. This was with a back to back medicated cycle and now I completely understand why they say give your body a month off. |

I did back to back natural FETs. In he second cycle, I didn't ovulate until CD24 or something ridiculous, so I ended up having about 4 scans and 6 blood tests, plus the transfer day. For a very simple cycle it was very time consuming.
IVF - you just never know. If it will really mess with the new job, I'd wait one month. |

I did back to back FETs. But given the new jobs I'd take a break unless you would lose 2 months due to Easter. If you want to feel like you are doing something maybe do some acupuncture (see someone who specialises in fertility)
