Hi,
I am new to WA and currently 23 weeks pregnant. I went to see a GP and did my first trimester test in WA and my detailed scan with my Gynae in my home country. Now I am back in WA again. Previously when I went to the GP, he did not do any checks (blood pressure, urine test, weight & height etc) on me. He just gave me referral letters. On my other visits, he did not bother to even use a doppler on me. Is this normal or was it because too early during the pregnancy? Now that I am back again in WA, I am thinking of changing my GP. Anyone has a recommendation of a good GP in Munster, Spearwood, Beeliar, Cockburn area or any place that is not too far away? I plan to go back to my home country when I am in my 31st weeks so is it useful for me to look for a gynae now or I should just stick to the GP? I heard about midwife, how do I go about finding one? Is midwife better than a GP? Sorry I am very confused with how it works in WA. |
