Hi everyone,
I recently had the pleasure of consuming a delicious, sweet, moist orange and sultana cake/loaf. When I asked the friend who made it, she mentioned that it is sugar free-apparently you use orange juice for the sweetness. I have asked her to email me the recipe, but she is super busy with family at the moment and hasn't had the chance to get back to me. I wondered if anyone here on EB has a recipe or could point me in the direction of one. I have tried looking on google and taste.com.au but without much luck-there are a few recipes, but they don't look much like the one I ate. Any suggestions will be most appreciated!!  Waiting in anticipation....... |

Wiseeyes, that one has sugar. I would say it would most likely be based on ground almonds, rather than flour. Otherwise if it is flour based it is gojng to taste awful without sugar.

That was the one I found on taste.com.au but alas like the other pp said, it has sugar!! Oh well, maybe I misunderstood my friends recipe. I'll keep waiting for her to get back to me. If I have any luck, I'll post it in here. Thanks for your help!,
