I saw a site that sold Montesorri toys and Waldorf dolls. I'll go hunting and see if I can find the link for you.

Instead of playsilks I made play cottons, for I am a tight a*se.
My DDs love them. I found the cotton at spotlight, I think it was $4 a metre, and made one in every colour of the rainbow plus black and brown. 10 scarves, total cost $40. Win! |

I bought my son's play silks from 'Polkadot Penguin' - they have a website for baby blankets. They're not selling the silks anymore but still had a few sets for a reduced price so if you message the owner they may still have some.
The sets have 10 silk squares in different colours in a polkadotted silk drawstring bag called a "Bag of Imagination". They're great! |

They are exxy but worth every cent. I bought plain white silks and died them myself with koolaid. My kids have been playing with them now for 5 years and they stillc look like new. They are the best toy I've ever bought.
