Im new to temping so just wondering if my temp was at 36.56 yesterday and today its at 36.18 with that drop does that mean I am about to ovulate or have already ovulated?
I have been using opks this month but so far haven't been helpful as they haven't really changed in colour my cycle so far. Im on CD 16

and life barrels on like a runaway train
From memory a lot of women get a dip before they ovulate but you would be better asking in the charting forum.

is 36.1 the lowest temp you got since starting to chart? i have been charting and mine went down to 35.9 (it has never gone that low) and sure enough the next couple of days it spiked really high so im assuming O happened around the dip in temp. biggrin.gif

Have you been taking your temp as soon as you wake up in the morning, at the same time? Restless sleep or taking the temp at a different time can really affect your temps so just thought I'd check.

A temperature dip is not a given at ovulation, OPKs give a much better indication for me. Some women do have a dip -- I rarely do. My temps usually stabilise a few days before ovulation but everyone is different. Without seeing the rest of your signs (CM in particular) I can't really say if you may be ovulating.

I'd recommend recording it all with Fertility Friend as it helps join the dots original.gif
