I'm set for end September/early October. I'm going to ask for 2 days off either side of school holidays which will take it to nearly 3 weeks.. Now to madly save and work out what to do/where to go

Wow, it's only now that I've posted the list and had a good look at it that I've realised how soon a lot of you are going! There's 7 of you lovely ladies heading off next month (and next month is only 2 days away!). 1fornow is 10 days into her trip and I didn't even realise! ellabellasmumma, 6 days and you're off too! 30 days today until my mini-break so that's 31 days until your Hawaiian escape Jo, you lucky thing!

ok ladies im 19th on the list lets get this moving i want to go now LOL nothing much happening in the planning,still need to organise transfers in Honolulu and car hire in Niagara falls but no hurry on them. Im going to start mapping out all the things that we want to do in NYC, so that we dont spend all day running from one end of Manhattan to the other and we do all the things that are near each other to save on travelling time. How is everyone elses planning going?

Ok well it looks like I'm going to have to join you!! - we are looking at Canada/US trip Late March next year.. Just wondering - WHERE do peeps stay in SanFRAN = 2 adults/2 kids - and in LAX area is it better to spread out the days SantaMonica/ Bev Hills or just stay 6 nights ANAHIEM?? would love to hear your Ideas Cheers

Hi, add me too! We're going to Canada and New York for a month over Christmas. DH's family is in Canada (conveniently spread out) and they have agreed to host us!! We are very lucky. So, tell me, what is the best way to get from the airport in NY to the hotel with a 5 and a 7yo in tow? I'm thinking hiring a car might be too much to worry about, but not sure about child restraints in taxis.
