I'm on my third set of digital scales in less than 4 years. Faults include not recognising small weights, inconsistent operation, not turning on every time (two sets, different brands), despite replacing the battery.
It's driving me crazy. Do you have a brand of reliable digital scales to recommend? |

I think with scales you get what you pay for. The more they cost, the more accurate and reliable they'll be.
My scales were a hostess gift from a tupperware party and have been going strong for 15 years now! Sadly I can;t see a brand name on them I'm not looking forward to replacing them as I know good ones will set me back over $100 easily. |

Yes, I think you need to spend about $100. I bought a Salter when I got married and it's still perfect, very accurate and durable.

Hello
I got a set at my local kitchen supply shop. They were roughly $70. They have been going for about 5 years now and never miss a beat I actually wanted old school scales - counter balances with a little weight set like my mum has, but I couldn't find them anywhere at the time.. I figured with them there was less to go wrong! |

Thanks for that. I've only been spending around $50 on a set, so I'll splash out.
