Hi!
As the subject says I've noticed that since hitting 31 weeks I'm really tired again. Over the weekend I had to have naps in the afternoon again like my first trimester and getting through a days work is getting harder and harder. My concentration and care level is 0.

Has anyone else got this or went through this at this point of their pregnancy? I've just got over a small cold so this could be why I'm tired but it just feels like my energy levels from my second trimester are gone again...

Welcome to the third trimester!

I tend to go straight from morning sickness/1st trimester ickiness to knackered 3rd trimester without ever glowing inbetween, but it is pretty normal at this point to start feeling drained.

Under everything, just another human being
Sounds a lot like low iron (aneamia). You can get a blood check to check (ask for iron studies as well), or just start taking a supplement- it can't hurt. It's important to have vitamin C at the same time as iron- it boosts the absorption. So An Iron tablet with a vit c one, or a glass of OJ will help. And no caffeine around the iron tablet- it hinders absorption.

You should find your energy levels improve.

Ah, iron! I am 24 weeks and really really buggered all the time with arvo naps if I can. I am having trouble doing basic housework and my boys are eating a lot of baked beans on toast!!
I forgot about iron, I needed it in my last two pregnancies after the 28 week bloods.
Just get a tablet that boosts your levels rather than just maintaining them.
Ferro grad-C is a good one.
I'm off to the chemist then!!

Yeah I had my iron checked recently and it was fine. Mine always tends to be on the higher side of normal because I carry the gene hemochromatosis (don't have the full disease like my mum).Oh good! So glad it's not just me then... Just want these 9 weeks to fly by already... (but then the real tiredness begins right?) haha

I'm 29 weeks, my bloods were all good a week ago, and honestly some days I sleep all day. Probably 2 days/week I have abnormal fatigue where I either sleep all day (10-2) or have to have an afternoon nap (4-6). Luckily I mostly work from home so this is doable, but still -
I was very surprised that my iron levels are fine.
