At our kinder we have this UGLY old beige noticeboard which we would like to start using as more of a focus in the foyer for notices etc (of course!)
Just wondering if anyone has any ideas on how to revamp it. Its covered in a think clumpy fabric. Would we dye it or strip the fabric off and re cover it? I think with a splash of paint for the old shelves in there and the noticeboard re done it could look fantastic and much more welcoming, but I want to have an idea of how to do it before I go all gung ho and raise it in a meeting! |

What about framing it and putting ribbon cross crossed over the board?

I would use a coloured hessian from Spotlight. It will be a lot more hardwearing than cotton fabrics.

I'd just paint it! Straight over the existing fabric..
Otherwise do as mindy05 suggested and go coloured hessian. You want hardwearing over temporarily pretty. |
