What do you think of this name for a boy?

I was at a kids sporting event yesterday and there were a group of 10 year old boys cheering on their team mate named this.

I like it!

Terrible. Ptolemy is such a key historical figure, it wouldn't be fair to burden a child with that.

LOL...just asked DH about it. He's a history teacher...he reckons it'd be similar to calling your child Megatron.

Nope, wouldn't even consider it. The name is big enough historically that a lot of people will associate it with the famous ancient by that name and I could see teenagers passing comment on a peer with that name because of it.
