Just curious... when do you guys stop testing with OPK's in your cycle? is it after you've had a positive and its faded out? or right through till the end of your cycle? etc etc.

I'm asking for a similar reason. I got a positive opk just over a week ago and once i got a few negative opks i stopped testing but now i'm worried that i should have kept testing just in case i got another positive... (can that even happen?)

Hope someone can help us!

Hi Ladies I tend to stop testing after the first negative following positives. I normally get a positive for 2 days and then the test line is not as dark as the control line the following day so stop testing from then.

I stop testing after I get a negative OPK after any positives. I like to see how long the LH surge lasts for original.gif

I need to temp as well as use OPKs as I have long and erratic cycles.

Last cycle, I got a positive OPK (and I use clearblue digital so there's no room for error!), but had no temp rise so I kept using the OPKs and got another positive 2 weeks later and finally got the temp rise after that surge.

Basically, I cannot be certain I have O'd unless and until I see a temp rise, so I keep using them until I am 1000 percent sure.

If your cycles are more predictable, I would stop once you get your first negative.
