The hand that rocks the cradle is the one that rules the world
Hi,

Does anyone know of any good free ebook sites? I don't mean dodgy ones but sites that have permission to allow them as free downloadables?

I have a Kobo as well so epub.

...
There was a thread a while ago that had sites that linked to free kindles on Amazon. They were great! My computer died though and I lost the links sad.gif I'm hoping some of them reply to this thread, as I'd love to find them again.

And you can just use calibre to convert if needed...

I'm advanced but not too advanced
Try your local library and borrow. Many libraries these days have a good selection of ebooks for loan - my local library allows a loan up to 3 weeks and from what I have seen Kobos are supported by libraries.

Sorry, I skipped over your update when I replied. That is a disgrace to the industry and she should either re-skill or retire. If you are in WA, ebooks are available to all public library customers via the State Library. If you are elsewhere, it might be worth checking if your State Library has any similar programs.
