A last minute addition to our list due to the possibility of a very good deal. If anyone has a commodore wagon (Sportwagon pref), do 3 seats fit in the back? Which seats do you have? Which combo (RF/FF etc).

What's the fuel economy like? Anything else I should know?

I really want the Citroen but I'd be mad to discount this offer without looking into it.

I have a 4yo Commodore wagon - I think that shape is still current.
I love it!
Fits 3 across easily. I've had these combos:
Strider Plus capsule + Hipod Senator + Maxi Cosi complete air
SP capsule + Infa Vario Max + Maxi Cosi CA
SP capsule + Maxi Cosi CA + Infa Vario Max
Infa Vario Max + Maxi Cosi CA + Infa Vario Max

I don't pay a lot of attention to fuel as I don't do huge amounts of driving, but it seems fine to me. If I'm just driving locally, e.g. shops, school run, I fill up once a month.

The wagon is just so versatile (compared with the sedan).

I have a commodore wagon with 3 car seats.

We currently have
RF safe and sound capsule, FF safe and sound meridian and Infa booster.

I have a 2009 commodore wagon. It's a great car. I love it. Fuel economy is great on the highway. It can be a little high in the city. I think the newer ones have different technology (sidi?) that is supposed to help with fuel economy.

I have fitted three seats across the back. It can be a bit of a squeeze when you are trying to do up a seat belt in a booster style seat. I have had two ff safe & sounds (two AHR style ones) plus a big booster seat (not sure what it's called).

If you do go the wagon, I strongly recommend the cargo barrier to prevent things flying into the front of the car from the boot in the event of an accident.

Unless you have some really wide old maxi-riders, you should have no problem getting 3 seats across the back of a commodore.
