Gap between bed and wall

DD has had 2 nights in her new bed and sleeping beautifully but im a bit worried about the gap between her matress and the wall. Because of her bed frame this is the closest i can get but i measured the gap its 7cm. Do u think thats big enough for a 28 month old to get their head stuck? Ive read that there shouldnt be a gap between the matress and bed big enough for them to get their head in there ( who knows how big that would be) esp for under 2 yr olds and beds that can move away from the wall ( ensemble) and that stuffing blankets in the gap can increase the risk. Seems because of the bed frames most seem to have some kind of gap.... Cant really move the bed into the middle of the room as her rm is quite small. Thanks

The first thing I thought of was to tuck a pool noodle under her fitted sheet on the side of the wall. Or a bed side rail and have it on the wall side. HTH.

I wouldn't be worried as such but I was going to suggest the pool noodle too. Just because she might wake herself up if she keeps rolling into the gap.

I don't think 7cm is big enough for a toddler to get their head stuck. The legal distance between balusters in a staircase is less than 125mm so 70mm is just too too small. If you are still concerned the pp had some good ideas, or you could just move the bed far enough out from the wall so that your little one can get out of bed on either side.

We really dont have the room to move her bed away from the wall unfortunately her room is small. I just wasnt sure if a gap that big because of the bed frame is normal or not and if i should be concerned, thanks for the tips

we put a few towels in between the wall and the mattress for many weeks.. and now we have taken them away as she doesnt roll into the wall...
