I am really enjoying being the Mummy me. If I go somewhere and leave bub with my husband, it feels weird not to have him with me.

Thanks for the link, emelsy. Much of it definitely resonated with me. I love my son more than anything, and even more each day, but I often think of my life 'before' - not that it was anything super exciting! - and feel a bit sad for it. I miss my independence most. And my disposable income! But having our son is a choice we made and one ill never regret!

I really like her writing style. There are other articles by her at the bottom of the page. My favourite is 'congratulations on the baby, are you suicidal?'. Thanks for the link OP!
