When you offer me thyme, I'd say thyme every time.

Thyme should work nicely.

Dinner is done.
I loved it!!! But I was damned by faint praise by DH. In his words it was OK and nice. Which for him is faint praise indeed. Normally it's "delicious" or "fantastic" or "really tasty" DS ate some under sufferance, but also was not a fan. Sigh |

Ok, I just read the recipe and realised you need the dill for the couscous. My DH loves coriander so I always put this in couscous and rice. Also, you could try continental (flat leaf) parsley. Now I want to try this dish myself.

But I was damned by faint praise by DH. In his words it was OK and nice. Which for him is faint praise indeed. Normally it's "delicious" or "fantastic" or "really tasty" Do you have any left over? If so wrap it in pastry and serve it up again - I have discovered that anything wrapped in pastry is deemed 'OMG this is FANTASTIC!' Then you are able to say - well it is the same bloody thing you "Hmmmmed" about matey! SO we are having it AGAIN and without pastry - because I like it, and you have outed yourself as liking it too! |
