Hi Everyone
I thought it might be good to put places where we have found good or cheap maternity clothes.

I was having a look today in Kmart and Target in preparation for needing some new maternity clothes and they seriously had nothing - and what they did have was so daggy and dowdy!

I am really after a pair of jeans fairly soon as my normal jeans are just not working with my bloating! I also don't want to spend a fortune!

I am in Perth but maybe if you put your city or suburb or similar and the name of the store we can start a list going for reference?

So if anybody knows of any good, reasonable priced maternity clothing stores in Perth please let me know! Or even some good online ones I guess.

Thanks!

Ripe have lots of nice things, they are more expensive but I am going to buy about 5 complete outfits and just wear them to death.

They are online ripe maternity.com.au

Mothercare is going bust, so I went past today and they had 60% off store wide. Looked at maternity stuff but have no idea yet what I'll need, the nursing bras looked awesome but again no idea how big my noobs will get!
Online Next and M&S from the UK are also awesome ad have excellent shipping rate to Oz original.gif

Jeanswest has maternity jeans and ASOS (UK based store) has very reasonably priced and stylish maternity wear. Shipping is also free!

I also bought a bunch of cheap A-line dresses from Ezibuy (online).

Personally, I found that maternity stores in Australia are very, very expensive.

I agree - I'm going to go to Savers, Salvos, St. Vinnies etc and find the nicest, best quality stuff I can find. I would love to buy lovely, shiny, new, boutique maternity clothes but there are already a lot of other random expenses (my car needs new tires for 1) and I just can't justify it.

Once I finish with it I'll probably donate it back if it's still good.

Kmart did have some "last season" stuff discounted like tshirts, but they were $9 instead of $10 - big whoop rolleyes.gif

Great thread, thanks bokbok.

Am checking out Asos now and I'm impressed with the range and prices. Anyone bought from there before?

Not my DIG but I love my ASOS maternity wear. My only complaint is the dresses are a little short on me (172cm and I wear their size 16) but they are super comfy clothes, a good fit still plenty of room in the tummy at 32 weeks. Quality is great too. I have only purchased dresses so I cannot vouch for the pants etc. Postage was also pretty quick. Have fun shopping ladies!
