abdominal pain - should I be concerned?

Hi girls, I've had a fairly constant pain in my abdomen - inside my left hip bone. It started last night and has continued all day today. It's a fairly throbbing sort of pain - it isn't sharp or stabbing. I'm just wondering if anyone else has felt something similar or if I should go to the doctor?

Pain should always be checked out, just in case. It might be ligament stretches, but it never hurts to run it by your OB or midwife.

Hi, i am not in your DIG, but agree with Jenflea - its worth getting checked out but sounds like ligament pain, but it ususally doesnt start this early. Its it vertical? If that makes sense

ligament pain would make sense to me actually - I have problems with my ligaments all the time. Mine tend to be really lax and I suffer strains and muscle tears because of them (for example: my fingers all bend backwards well beyond 90 degrees - some so far the the nails end up backwards parallel to my hand). It doesn't really feel directional, more like a point / ball of tenderness / pain? I think I'll see how it goes for the next few hours and hopefully it settles down.
