Hi All,
I am currently only nearly 5 weeks but have been informed if I don't get in early the obstetrician I choose may not be available. So have come to seek some wisdom from you lovely lot. I live in the Northern Suburbs and ideally would like to give birth at either Joondalup or Glengarry as a Private Patient. Has anyone had positive/negative experiences at either of these hospitals and could you share those with me? Also, what obstetrician did you use and would you recommend them? This is my first so I really have no idea. Thank you in advance. |

I've had 3 children born at Joondalup, all great experiences. My last baby was only a couple of months ago and I had her at Glengarry, I chose Glengarry because of the sheer hell that is parking at Joondalup Health Campus, parking is plentiful at Glengarry and freeeeee
I was so impressed with the level of care at Glengarry, I really wish I'd had all of mine there |

I'm having my 3rd baby at Joondalup Private. They have nearly finished building the brand new private hospital there and that is due to open next month (March). Have not seen it yet but the midwives tell me it is lovely. There are only three obs that deliver at Joondalup private, all female and all lovely. Feel free to PM me if you would like more info...good luck! Hi littlesuzie, Tried to send you a PM but it didn't work for some reason. Can you give me more info about your experience at Joondalup as a private patient. Also, who did you have as an OB? I have been recommended Dr Margo. Thanks |
