The Norwegians must be a fun lot.. they love sitting around the TV and watching.... a fireplace???

In a way it's no more bizarre than many of the other reality TV shows out there. I think if I had to choose between a 12 hour show on firewood and 12 hours of a show like Toddlers & Tiaras, Biggest Loser or Big Brother, the firewood would win hands down.
 It *is* kind of funny, but I suspect it's one of those things only Norwegians would get.

I'd rather watch that than watch a bunch of slappers get a makeunder, a bunch of fat folk sweating and crying, or a bunch of rednecks blowing up giant rats.

Yes but considering some parts of Norway are lucky to get one hour of daylight a day at this time of year, I think I'd be a bit loopy too.

I'd watch it.
To be honest I would rather watch something like that than what's on TV these days, it can't be any worse than watching tennis! Half the time we turn the TV off and watch the fish tank anyway. Lately watching the guppies has been more entertaining than the TV. |

I can just imagine Norwegians wondering at Aussies watching a Test Match for days on end and all *that* shows is a bunch of men dressed in immaculate white clothes stand around doing nothing. "Ja, you'd get loopy in that heat"
