We keep getting the spam rubbish as comments on facebook. Apparently from friends of friends but not. Woke up to 50 million facebook notifications between 4am and 4:30am this morning. Grrrrr

Any way to stop it?

other than blocking each user? not that i know of (although you can mark each post as spam and then report it)

I worked out how to mark as spam but how to I report it?

Can't block the user but it wasn't really her. (Friend of DD#1's) Is it because DD's friend has gone on some dodgy website or something?

It happened once before with a different person who wasn't even a friend of DD's but a friend of a friend but it was just one comment. This was tons and tons of comments.

if you mark the comment as spam, usually it will come up with a little worded dialogue asking if you want to block the user or report it as spam, it then comes up with a box asking what it actually was (hate speech, spam etc).

If it's a friend who has added a dodgy app i'd let them know, and tell them to remove the app. otherwise you used to be able to stop certain people from commenting on your posts, which may help as a temp measure
