Hi all,
I've finally reached the pointy end of this pregnancy and have been having braxton hicks since about 25 weeks. Since Sunday night they've been coupled with cramping in my pelvis and back (pretty similar to period pain), from about 5:30pm for a good few hours. I haven't been timing them as I know pre-labour can go for aaaaaaaaaaaaages (like, weeks) and don't want to be watching the clock from too early on. I also feel like I've been whacked between the legs with a cricket bat today. Sorry, there's really no other way to put it. Did you experience these before labour? And if so, how long did they last for before you went in to labour? My OB has put a time limit on how long I'm allowed to go over before I have another c-section (this birth will be a VBAC for me hopefully), so I'll be going in for the caesar in about 2 and a half weeks. TIA |
