Hi,

just wondering if you ladies can provide some inspiration on boys names as DP and I are struggling to agree. We are after a classic name (nothing modern or uneek) but not too popular as we have a very common surname. Any suggestions?

TIA

I googled popular names from the 1920's, 30's and 40's to get ideas for DS's first name (Leo). There were lots of great underused names mixed in with some of the more difficult to use names (Cecil for instance). His name has suddenly become more popular, but it's still a little more unusual.

Hamish...its our name if we have a boy. Two of the reasons we love is that its a classic but not too common name! Hope that helps!
