I've had my iMac for about 15 months, and for the past three months it has had issues with staying connected to the Internet and also with the computer failing to function at all on many occasions. It's getting very frustrating!

We've had the technician out twice and the problems have actually worsened. I'm not looking for technical advice, but just any tips with dealing with Apple and any tips for getting a replacement computer. I think we have been patient enough.

I need my computer to get things ready for the birth in a few weeks and also to get some work underway before bubs arrives as I'm planning to be a WAHM.

The technician told us they only consider replacing the computer after three visits from the technician. We're currently awaiting our third visit.

Any tips for getting the ball rolling?
There's only five weeks until I'm due! blink.gif

ETA
We took out three-year Apple Care cover when we bought the iMac.

To date, our contact with Apple has been via booked phone calls with Apple in the US, and email updates letting them know of the continued problems, and error reports sent from the computer.

Hey OP I've been having the exact same issues with my iMac. Thought it was our Internet service though. I'm going to look into this now! Ours is only 2 years old and we have apple care too

Yep, definitely look into it! We put up with ours for a little while not realising it was a problem with the actual computer. If we hadn't bought the Apple Care with extended warranty we would not have received the technician service or eventually the new computer. So glad we bought it! The new computer is working like a dream!
