Mr. turned 4 last October and TT is now officially driving me insane. We've had 3 goes at it over the last six months with the same routine.
For the first 2-3 weeks he's gone to the toilet no problems. Sometimes needed reminding but only had very few accidents. After a few weeks he just gets lazy and stops using the toilet. If I ask him to go he will often say he doesn't need to, but then wets himself later. He's quite happy to wet himself and then change into dry clothes himself instead of going to the toilet. This routine is now on it's third round.
He started kindy 2 weeks ago and was doing really well going to the toilet. He even started wiping himself after no. 2's as "the other kids at kindy do" - yay! But now 3 weeks later old routine is kicking in, starting to wet himself at kindy occassionally (doesn't wory me if it's only once a day), but then when he gets home just uses his undies as a toilet.
I'm totally at my wit's end. I know he perfectly capable of going to the toilet. I've tried rewards and punishment but I can't compete with the laziness and stubborness of a 4yo.
Can anyone please give me some advice?
