ME tthumbs.gif I have about the same to lose - I am on week 6 - first five weeks have lost 5.2kg
I have mostly been doing 1200 7 Days - but a couple of weeks have been 1200 5 days - and that's what I like about LnE I can mix things up and have other food when i have something planned.
Good Luck!

I'm on lite n easy breakfast and lunches but do dinner myself. I'm currently on the 1500 plan and losing 1 to 1.5kg a week.

Just a question OP did you choose the plan you should go on or was that the one suggested to you?

Wow! Thanks for responding, great to know I'm not alone!

Butterflydreaming- according to the LNT website I should be on the 1500 plan but I really want to lose the weight as fast as I can so on the 1200. The first three days I was totally motivated, today (day 5 ) I'm starting to weaken a bit for home cooking and chocolate but not close to cheating. I think about the white jeans in my cupboard I really want to get back into!

But does anyone else find they are weighing themselves every 5 minutes? I am going to have to stick to this for awhile to get the weight off so hope it works...if I can lose at least 1kg a week that will be great!

ECsMum- wow congrats on getting so far and losing 5.2kg! Did you find it hard getting to 6 weeks? Seems like so fara way for me but maybe I'm focussing too much on what I'm eating and what I'm not eating where I should just forget about the 'diet'/eating part of life and focus on other things so that time goes faster!

Are there any dinners you would steer clear of? I've just ordered my meals for next week and included the spag. marinara which i tought sounded dodgy but read online that it's really good so will give it a try... rolleyes.gif

Personally I would go onto the 1500Cals recommended, you will still lose weight, should be just as 'quick' and it will give you a little more energy to stick it out, and to help you get through your exercise. You need some energy in there to help push you along, don't just think 1200 = fast, you may hit a wall quickly if you lower your intake to quickly, your weight will definitely go down on 1500Cals. And don't look for the quick fix, cause you will stumble if you hit a week with a small or no loss at all. (Also put the scales away, choose 1 day a week for weighing yourself and stick to it, your weight will naturally fluctuate through the day, once a week or month is way more accurate).

I lost 23kg's eating around 1800Cals per day, plus exercise (took about a year), and I know many others who have done the similar.

Good luck with it all original.gif

I have lost 29 kilos eating around 1500-2000 calories a day, depending on exercise.

1200 is just not enough, especially if you are exercising.

And I did Lite N Easy for a few weeks last year. I tired of the food very quickly. I have just learnt to find meals that are quick and easy to cook and that I enjoy and stick with them. On the occasions that I eat what the kids are eating I adjust it to suit me, like mashed potato with no butter and using lite milk.
