So we can't decide on the middle name and want both names we love.
Name would be Anton (family name) Daniel Alexander Bacardi (I just need a Bacardi, not our name What do you think? We like Anton as its short, rare and strong. Dh loves Daniel and I like Alexander. Hope the kid will like one of these Is it too long? Does it flow ok? Suggestions? |

Great names and not too long at all. He won't thank you in later life when he has to write out his full name but that would be the only negative. Our DD has two middle names - one from each side of the family in case she was the only girl, which she was.

I personally think the names work well together.
DD has two middle names. It ends up being a mouthful when you say it all together, but that happens so rarely it doesn't bother me. |

Our DD has two middle names - one from each side of the family in case she was the only girl, which she was. Our 3 DC that have more than one mn (DS1 only has one mn) never have to write out all their mns. They just write fn and 1st mn on all paperwork. The only place they have more than one mn is their birth certificate and when I am angry with them |

I disagree I don't think all those names flow at all.
Anton Alexander goes nicely but not with Daniel tucked in the middle - too choppy. How about Anton Alexander Daniel Lastname? |

Anton Alexander does sound lovely but the AA initials bug me, am I being silly? AA is nice for initials - makes me think A. A. Milne

I agree that Anton Alexander Daniel flows more nicely. I can see your point about AA but I think I'd overlook it for the nicer sound.

I agree with a pp, Anton Alexander Daniel surname flows better than Anton Daniel Alexander surname.
The AA initials wouldnt be an issue as its only the first name and first mn initial. I'm not a fan of long names, but I understand its a personal choice, my nephew and niece both have two middle names and long first names, think up to 30 letters each. |
