I have heard it's a good idea for C section babies to be wiped with their mother's vaginal fluids to give them good bacteria.

Has anyone done this? Or seen it?
Here is a typical article on studies.. comparing bacteria on V babies vs C babies

Just wondering if it's good idea to do it with my next Csection baby - bizarre but makes sense - and if so, how?
Like, swab my vag with cotton bud and then put it into baby's mouth??

To victory, it feels unfamiliar but it tastes like chicken
Gee what thoughtful considered responses, some people are idiots op ignore them.

When babies travel down the birth canal the bacteria there colonises them and that is where they get the beginnings of their gut bacteria. It is an important process. Why is it so ridiculous that someone would want their c section baby to get the same benefit.

You know vaginally born babies t ouch their mother's vaginas right?
