Does anyone own a deep fryer that uses half the oil or one of those air fryers? I was thinking of buying one both cause it seems a bit healthier and might be a lot less messier. I guess I was after some reviews on different brands and weather it is worth spending the extra money.
Any thoughts would be appriciated |

I have a Philips Airfryer
http://www.philips.com.au/c/home-cooking/v...-hd9220_40/prd/ It's brilliant, I love it. I'll be honest, I only bought it for chips, but it cooks other things too and they all come out beautifully. There are heaps of reviews for them online, mostly positive, apart from the price I think they're fantastic. I chuck the chips in and just spray or drizzle a bit of oil and they really are as nice as deep fryer chips. Pies, sausage rolls, chicken nuggets, garlic bread, everything comes out crispy and lovely. |

Thanks. Where did you buy it? Is it similar to the Tefal Actifryer?

I bought it from The Good Guys. I believe it is similar to the Tefal one but I'm not sure. They don't look much alike, the Philips one is just a mesh wire container that you put things in, the Tefal one looks a bit more involved.
