Slow and steady.
I've just walked past the front loader to notice a fricken Nintendo DS card merrily spinning around and around. It wasn't submerged, but I've stopped the machine and got it out and it's pretty wet (well duh!) Will it still work?

DS1 has been banned from the DS for as long as I see fit, so I have a bit of time up my sleeve to rectify the situation. I just can't remember where I put said DS to try it out ph34r.gif .

Stick it in a sealed container of rice in a warm spot. It may work the way it works with mobiles.

Yep, bury it in rice for a few days.

It should... as long as you dry it well and none of those golden metal thingies on it are still intact.
I washed DH's USB and it's working afterwards.

I would also leave it in a container of rice and hope for the best.

I did exactly the same to my sons DS card. We let it dry in some rice for a few days before putting it in the DS to try. Don't put it in the DS while it is still wet. Ours worked for awhile but then stopped working after a few weeks. I don't know whether it was from the wash or just a coincidence.

One of my kids left their ipod shuffle in the pocket of their pants once and it went through the complete wash cycle. Still worked no problems.

I've had so many Ds cards go through the wash I've lost count! They all still work fine.

Ditto. I don't even bother putting them in rice.
