Tal Goody: I want to tell everyone as well. It is really hard as my DH is away at the moment so I ended up telling my Mum and Little Sister. So hopefully they both keep the secret until I give them the ok to tell people. Both of them are super excited though which is great. This will be my Mum's first grandchild so she is over the moon, a bit different to DH's side it will be grandchild #15

blake: I'm not worried about having sex, however with DH in the USA for another week it makes the logistics a little impossible. Hopefully we are back into it when he get home

mrsradiant: I've tried to be good but it is hard. I was at a function that had only finger food and you really have to concentrate on what you are putting in your mouth.

Am I the only one with almost no symptoms? I know its early but the only thing I have is I seemed to get out of breath when I am exercising really quickly.

My GP also said that 4+2 was too early to do a blood test, which I was surprised at, so now I need to wait another week and sneak off early from work again to get them done. If I'd know that from the start I would have held off on the first appointment.

Happy sufferer of MAD - Mad Aunty Disorder
Hi everyone!

Been lurking a bit for a few days. I've had symptoms on and off - some nausea here and there, doing vague things, vivid dreams every now and then...the only ones that seem to stay put are peeing constantly, exhaustion and...uh...totally forgotten what I was going to write. rolleyes.gif

Coffee - I've swapped to decaf because I still drink tea and the odd diet coke. It's been a bit rude going from 3-4 full strength coffees a day to ONE decaf, but I'm coping.

Sex - I've been too tired at the moment, but last time it was really great. Third trimester sex was so funny because I was enormous. Every now and then DH would get kicked by the bub - very funny for me. wink.gif

I've got my dating scan on Thursday arvo...trying to work out how I can ask what side the placenta will be on without DH wondering why I want to know. original.gif He's not sure if he wants to know the gender...we didn't find out last time, but he's kinda on the fence this time.

Hope everyone is feeling well. Hi to all the newbies!

julzely- that seems odd that your doc wouldnt give u a blood test. i had my first one done at 13dpo so 3 weeks 6 days. i didnt have many symptoms that early eaither, i started to get slightly sore bbs at 4 weeks 3 days just on the sides and only if i poked them lol and they got really sore by 5 weeks. i felt weird on the weekend which i think was my first sign of nausea which was 6 weeks 2 days and apart from that, nothing else, feel quite 'normal ish'. u have plenty of time to get symptoms original.gif

Hi Chelby - I've been posting for a while, but thanks for the welcome. wink.gif A couple of threads ago, one of the ladies here posted something about how if the placenta is on the left side it's almost definitely one gender, and if it's on the right it's almost definltely the other. Can't remember which side was which. If you go through the older threads you'll find it.

Hi all,

While we are on the sex topic, I gotta say I'm def in the mood for it. ESP after feeling 'forced' while trying. Does anyone have any probs with positions? I was feelin a bit crampy in certain positions. Is this bad?

Regarding the placenta side see the 6 week scan post.

Otherwise am still my same starving self. Have perfected a nacho recipe which goes down very well!

Also should I change my dd to the one from the scan? Is 2 days later.
