My baby has just grown out of his small sized MCN and we are not plannin on having another baby until I have finished my degree(3 yrs) an worked full time for another 2.
Should I sell my nappies (itti bitti and Bambooty) as he grows out of them or store them for my next baby? I bought them all brand new and I don't really want to sell my lovely prints. But I the elastic won't last I would rather sell them. |

I've stored some for 3 years and they're still fine so if you have the space it may be worth the risk keeping them.

I would sell. I had the same gap between babies. Some nappies stored fine, others, the elastic perished. It was a bit hit and miss

I kept nearly all of mine. We have a 6 year age gap.
Some of the flannelette seems to have deteriorated on some of my cheaper nappies, and a lot of the elastics have gone in the first couple of months of reusing them. They were fine when I got them out of storage but have gone now I have started washing them, so I will have to replace them soon. The other thing to consider is how much you like the nappies. I love the Whizz Kidz brand and think they are a brilliant nappy so I kept all of those, and thank goodness too because they are no longer made. I wouldn't have wanted to have to repurchase another cloth stash. We simply wouldn't have been able to fund it the same way we could 6 years ago. Good luck deciding - there's a few things to consider. |

If you want to keep them - just wash them every 6 months or so.
