Hi Guys

We're on the market for a new slow cooker. I've heard good things about the Breville Flavour Maker. Any feedback please? Or do you recommend another brand?

We're keen on being able to sear and want to at least have an auto function where it turns down to low when cooked.

Cheers

i have a new wave 5 in one multi function cooker. does slow cooking as well as pressure cooking (safely), browning, soups and steaming. haven;t tried the steaming yet but will soon, the pressure cooker makes risotto in 10 minutes and makes short work of casseroles (make sure you reduce the liquid though) and slow cooks well too. i'd recommend it! it's pretty big but in my mind worth it.

I'll get back to you on that one.
W have had the breville ikon with easy sear pan for about 3 years now. It is big, 7 litres, but we like that as we make things to freeze multiple batches.

The pan lifts out and goes straight on the cook top for searing. It has low, high and auto settings.

We've been happy.

Thanks - we're also looking at the Ikon, just trying to decide how big we need.

Cheers
