Hi

My Nanna is coming over for my graduation. She has a disabled parking permit.

There would only be a couple of occasions we'd use it but when we could use it, it would be very handy.

So could she bring her pass and use it in my car

Is this appropriate?

Do I need a flame suit?

Can I use my NSW-issued permit elsewhere in Australia?
Yes. All States and Territories in Australia are participating in the Australian Disability Parking Scheme. However, as the concessions may vary between each State and Territory, you should contact the relevant authority for complete details.

In all cases, a visiting permit holder must comply with the disability parking concessions applicable in the State or Territory they are visiting.

The Commonwealth Government's Australian Disability Parking Scheme website provides links to all State and Territory information on disability parking schemes across Australia.

Only if you had added "My sister & I think it would be great to get premium parking when we go to the mall while our nanna is home taking a nap."

Hope she has a safe trip & that you have a happy graduation. Congrats!

Promise I won't!!

I mostly just want to use it at the uni for the graduation ceremony. Parking is a nightmare and she simply won't be able to walk from car park through the campus.

Save me Barry!
I'm pretty sure they are interchangeable. I used my son's Vic permit when we were in QLD and had no problems
