I think it depends on the brand and how in demand they are, but personally I would take a lot off the price because I would not feel comfortable charging very much for a nappy that needed fixing. I've sold itti bittis with shot elastic but in otherwise great condition for $3-$5 each. They did get snapped up really fast so I know that was probably very cheap
I personally refuse to pay much for second hand nappies, even moreso when they need repair. I'm clearly in the minority though because I see so many being sold at high prices on those buy and sell groups. With all the good sales that come up on nappies I'd rather wait and buy new than pay more than a few dollars for one that I need to fix. Sorry that's probably not much help to you! ETA I don't sew, so to me repairing nappies is a hassle and that's probably influenced my views a lot This post has been edited by greypink: 16/02/2013, 04:35 PM |

No that's fine, it's a great help. I don't want to overcharge, that's why I'm asking. It is a night nappy I had custom made and paid a bit for, it's been in storage and in great nick except for the elastic.
I don't sew either, I'm actually selling off stuff to get my Green Kids repaired This post has been edited by ~flaxen~: 16/02/2013, 05:00 PM |

For a custom made night nappy I'd charge a bit more than I normally would, mainly because they are usually expensive and can be hard to get hold of.
I hear you on the storage thing, it can be frustrating! I've ended up just selling everything and will buy more when if/when we eventually have another child as with a 5+ year gap between kids it doesn't seem worth it to store them. |
