...and a few spelling questions

ok Baby Number 5 for us

We have a Toby, Willow, Bailey and Eleanor. Our list so far in order of my preference (tho Henry is at the top of DH's list too at the moment)

Henry
Zane
Albie
Alexander
Edison
Louis
Reuben
Mason
Sam/Samson
Wesley/Westley
Fynn/Finley
Carter
Spencer
Carson
Ronan
Thomas/Tommy
Hudson
Hunter
Jago

The couple of spellings i need to sort out are

Louis or Lewis
Edison or Eddison
Fynn or Finn
and is there any other way to spell Ronan as it isn't looking right to me for some reason , i keep wanting to squish a h in there somewhere lol

If you could help with narrowing it down , hates/loves etc that would be great , also if you spot anything not spelt the traditional way please let me know

Much appreciated original.gif

Congratulations on baby number 5, how lovely! bbabyflip.gif

I would pick Henry, Thomas and Alexander, very nice!

In terms of spelling I would go with:

Louis
Edison
Finn

Ronan looks like it's spelt correctly, but apparently there's also Rhonan for a boy's name, so I'm not sure!

Louis and Lewis are two different names

I was intending both spellings to be pronounced the same but obviously not if ones a whole different name lol

How's Louis pronounced then? and does anyone know a different spelling of Lewis in that case , I'm loving the name but not the W for some reason

Boys names are too hard ,we had a list of loves a mile long for girls typically lol Not that we're not thrilled to be adding a boy to the family of-course wub.gif , but they sure are tricky to name

I think Reuben is lovely and goes wonderfully with the names of your other children.

I much prefer the spelling Lewis and a lot of people see Louis as being pronounced the French way, Louie.

My favourites in no particular order:
Henry, Louis, Reuben, Carter, Spencer

Ones that are ok and would fit with your other kids
Edison/Eddison, Ronan, Finn, Carson, Samson. I don't mind Wesley, but I don't think it goes with your other names.

I don't like
Zane, Albie, Alexander, Mason Thomas/Tommy, Hudson, Hunter, Jago

Louis or Lewis - 2 different names, but I think lots of people will call Louis - Lewis.
Edison or Eddison (2nd D looks better IMO)
Fynn or Finn - Finn
Ronan - maybe you're thinking of Roman? Rohan?

Good luck choosing and with the birth original.gif

We have very similar tastes OP! My son's name is on your list.
Going by your other children's names I like Carter or Jago.

We considered Django or Iago for DS. I think Django goes well with your other children too.
